Leafy Substance

By Meg Cullar

The Baylor Chapel crowd may not have been familiar with the name Phil Vischer, but when the VeggieTales founder spoke in the voice of Bob the Tomato, the crowd went wild. Vischer told his life story since beginning the VeggieTales Christian children's films--featuring animated vegetables--and starting the company Big Idea, which later was purchased by Classic Media. He told the crowd he had to let go of his dream and seek God.

"The most important thing is not the work I can do for God," he said. "The most important thing is to make God the most important thing. It's taken me fourteen years to learn this lesson; I"m hoping I can save you a few."
