The question: What is Baylor's logo?Frank Skobel, senior
"The interlocking BU is our strongest logo. I don't like the other
symbols as much except for Sailor Bear, but it's not really used
anymore."

Alejandra Martinez, senior
"I think our faith-based education is what defines us--not necessarily
an image. I do like the interlocking BU, and I think it's important to
maintain it."

Philip Fauria, senior
"I've always thought our logo was the interlocking BU, but lately I
think there's controversy about that. They might get rid of it because
of confusion with Boston University. There might be more to it than
that, but that's what I’ve heard."

Tom Tong, graduate student
"I feel like the seal is our logo. Many universities have something
similar to the interlocking BU, so I don't feel that it's a necessary
symbol. I like the motto on the seal--'Pro Ecclesia, Pro Texana'--and
it reveals the history and the commitment of Baylor."

Diana Robles, senior
I think the interlocking BU is our symbol, but I don't think it's
important to maintain. It would be okay if we changed it. I think the
controversy is kind of silly."
