Line and BAA Staff Changes

Julie Copenhaver joined the staff of the Baylor Alumni Association (BAA) on October 1, 2009, as the communications coordinator. She oversees the production of a wide variety of print and online materials to support the membership, programs, and communications goals of the alumni association.

Julie earned a BA degree in film and digital media from Baylor in 2001, and a master’s degree in journalism from Baylor in 2008. She is from Round Rock, and has been very active in gymnastics and the film industry throughout the years.

Julie took over duties for Judy Henderson Prather ’73, DMin ’02, who retired from the association after twenty-one years of service. During her tenure, Prather had served as class notes editor for the Baylor Line as well as communications coordinator for the BAA. She is now a chaplain with Waco’s Bluebonnet Hospice.
