Baylor football heads to the Alamo Bowl!

The Baylor Black Alumni Club (BBA) congratulates the Baylor football team on an outstanding 2011 season! After compiling a 9-3 record, and Robert Griffin III winning the Heisman, the Bears are set to take on University of Washington from the Pac Ten Conference in the Valero Alamo Bowl at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The BBA encourages the Baylor family to make a strong show of support and fill the Alamodome with green and gold. Due to Baylor's success and the draw of 2011 Heisman winner Robert Griffin III, only a limited number of tickets are still available for purchase: Alamo Bowl.

While you’re in San Antonio for the game, be sure to enjoy a wide variety of activities for Baylor fans before the showdown with the Washington Huskies.

Wednesday, December 28 

5:30 p.m.: Baylor Sports Network Pre-Game Pep Rally, Tower of the Americas

9 p.m. – Midnight: Pre-Game Party, Mad Dog Sports Bar at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk.

Thursday, December 29 

3 p.m.: AT&T Fan Zone, Sunset Station

3:30 - 6 p.m.: Baylor Sports Network Tailgate, Tower of Americas

7 p.m.: BBA Watch Party at Dick's Last Resort- San Antonio Riverwalk *RSVP Required by Monday, Dec. 26 to Baylorblackalumni@hotmail.com. Separate checks will be available. All parties must arrive by 7 p.m. for guaranteed seating.

8 p.m.: Valero Alamo Bowl kickoff, Alamodome

11 p.m.: BBA After game meet and greet, Coyote Ugly San Antonio Riverwalk
