2009 Scholarship Recipient 

Jenelle Penha is a junior medical humanities major with a minor in community health. She is from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Her campus involvements include a one-year tenure on the Baylor Activities Council, a discussion leader in the BU Medical Ethics Discussion Society, and a member in the Association of Black Students. In 2008, she attended the Summer Medical and Dental Enrichment Program at Case Western Reserve University, and in 2009 participated in the University Residential Inaugural Conference in Washington, D.C.

Jenelle received a $1,500 scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic school year.
