Family AlbumBy Lisa Asher
Want to share your June wedding pictures?! To have them and other favorites included in next month's family album, e-mail Lisa_Asher@baylor.edu.

POWER COUPLE: On June 8, Lisa Sawyer '06 and Tony Samp '06 were married in Grand Cayman. They live in Washington, D.C., where Lisa is a presidential management fellow in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, and Tony works on Capitol Hill as a senior legislative assistant in the Office of Rep. Martin Heinrich, a Democrat from New Mexico.

BAYLOR BOUND: Michele Gibbons Smith '82, MBA '83, shares this picture of her son, Connor (far right), and his friends, Drew Cody and Katie Brown, all of whom are headed to Baylor in the fall. Michele and her husband, Donnie '81, JD '84, MBA '87, have an older son, Halden, who is a Baylor junior, and a daughter, Stancey, in high school. Drew's parents are Tom '84 and Alisa Gilliam Cody '84. Michele says that Katie is a "recent Baylor convert." Her mother went to UT and her father to Boston University.

ALL SMILES: Andrew David Slaton looks thrilled to be sporting his Baylor gear. His parents are John '03 and Amy Mills Slaton, BBA/MA '03. They live in Euless, and Amy is a manager of assurance and advisory business services for Ernst & Young, LLP, in Dallas. She gets e-mail at amy.slaton@ey.com.

FLOWER POWER: Angela Babcock White '88 writes, "I missed the newsletter's 'call for bluebonnets' last month, but I just had to send this of our kids: Lydia, sixteen; Zeb, fourteen; Emme, nine; and Kathryn, seven. Randy '88 and I were married in Miller Chapel on May 13, 1989, so we just celebrated twenty years!” The Whites receive e-mail at ralzek@sbcglobal.net.

BABY BEAR: It was no April Fool's joke when Greg '01 and Ame Hale Moss '00 celebrated the birth of Sutton Amelia on April 1. Looks like they're already planning for her future as a Baylor Bear! Greg's e-mail address is greg_moss@yahoo.com.

CAR COUPLE: During the Mustang forty-fifth-anniversary celebration in Birmingham, Alabama, in April, the Auto Etc Neon booth—manned by owners Bob '62 and Barbara Stepp Johnston '63—got a visit from Alan Mulally (center), the president and CEO of Ford Motor Company. The Johnstons, who met in Baylor's Collins Dining Hall, have been automotive product licensees for twenty-three years. They create enthusiast products, including automotive neon signs, fine jewelry, area rugs, and decorative mirrors for home and garage décor. They invite people to check out their website at autoetcneon.com.

FASHION PLATE: And here's another cutie sporting her best Baylor fashion! Olivia Anne Miller was born last September 16 to Kyle, att. '90-92, and Jennifer Koerber Miller '94, who met during their freshman year at Baylor. Jennifer is a human resources manager for Collin County, and Kyle is a physics teacher and coaches football and baseball at The Colony High School. The Miller family resides in Frisco. FIT AND FORTY: On Saturday, May 9, Eric Shero '91 (far right) celebrated his fortieth birthday in a unique way—by running a total of forty miles in the area around his home in Hewitt. Starting at 5 a.m. and wrapping things up in the evening, he covered the distance by dividing it up into five- and two-mile loops with breaks in between. Helping him out at various stages along the way were many friends and family members—some on foot, others on bikes—including his wife, Michelle Riley Shero '94; their two sons, Reagan (eight) and Riley (ten); his mother, Carmen Hodges Shero '65; and Barbara Hodges Gunnin '62. Pictured with Shero are (left to right) Don Hall, Kyle Dietz '04, and Dr. Jim Morton '68, all of Waco. The Sheros receive e-mail at jmshero@hot.rr.com.
