 Fling is a special event held every other year specifically for Baylor women. The two-day event provides plenty of time for alumnae to rekindle friendships and reminisce about Baylor. This year's events took place on several on-campus sites, including the McMullen-Connally Faculty Center, Brooks Village, and the Hughes-Dillard Alumni Center.
There are many opportunities for Baylor graduates to visit their alma
mater and catch up with old friends, plus make new ones. But there is
only one Fling. Billed as a "Baylor Alumni Association event for women,"
Fling--which is every other spring--reconnects Baylor alumnae to each
other and to the university.
"I think Fling is a good program for women graduates because it is just
for women and is geared toward the interests of women," said Bob Anne
McMullan Senter, the Baylor Alumni Association Fling coordinator. "The
Fling weekend is not as frantic as Homecoming or game day football.
Fling is a more relaxed weekend."
