For an enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we recommend one of our eight different reading skills programs taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development. The Baylor Alumni Association has worked in partnership with the Institute of Reading Development to bring these popular programs to the service area since 1997.

The summer reading programs are available in Brownsville, Clear Lake, Corpus Christi, Edinburg, Friendswood, Harlingen, Katy, Killeen, McAllen, San Antonio, Temple, Waco, Laredo, College Station, Georgetown, and other locations throughout the area.
