After serving as Class Notes editor of the Baylor Line for sixteen years, Judy Prather accepted the responsibility of Communications Coordinator in April 2004. Her responsibilities encompass the production and delivery of all alumni association materials used for communications or identity purposes--ranging from materials for specific events like Homecoming, awards ceremonies, and Heritage Club to executive communications with the Board of Directors to membership marketing and fundraising efforts. She also administers Baylor's Homecoming website.
A 1973 Baylor graduate, Judy is also a bivocational minister who completed the doctor of ministry degree at Baylor's Truett Seminary in 2002. For several years, she has served as a spiritual formation mentor for Truett students and as a retreat leader for churches.
She and her husband, Buddy Prather '70, have been married since 1975. They have two grown sons, Kevin and Keith.
